The mission of the Gallery of THUM is to bring beautiful art to everyone. This mission means in part that the Gallery is to reach out to children in need of a creative and artistic outlet in order to strengthen the understanding of where creative gifts come from, and that these gifts are intended to fill their lives with beauty and serenity and expression. We do not discriminate against anyone by color, size, politics, religion or any other reason. A large percentage of the proceeds of this book will go towards making Gallery of THUM a not-for-profit community entity that addresses the artistic needs of children who cannot afford artistic teaching. From the moment we opened our doors in 2006 we have searched out youth and young adults who have needed a healthy and creative outlet to replace harmful behavior. We have been successful in finding many in need and wish to continue doing this in the community. We are slowly progressing towards art therapy and classes in every artistic discipline.
